This is the new Class Of CB3 Multi Client Wireless Bridges from Buffalo Wireless. These new Deluxe models include Built in Access point functionality similar to the AP3 model.

The CB3 Multi Client Wireless Bridge is the most powerful 802.11b/g LAN to Wireless bridge in it's class. The Bridge has the ability to transmit and receive up to 1200 meters (1.2 kilmeters ~ roughly 3,930 feet) which makes this AP best in it's class on the market. Antenna upgrades are also available.

What is a Multi Client Wireless bridge you ask? Basically what this unit will do, is take any of your existing RJ45 wired LAN Devices and let them connect wirelessly to a wireless 802.11b/g Access point or wireless 802.11b/g Router.

What can be connected to this Wireless Bridge? Anything you want, including the following:

  • Desktops with an RJ45 network interface (built onto the motherboard or network pci card, nic card
  • Laptops with a built in RJ45 network connector or external pcmcia network card
  • PDA systems with Network interface CF cards.
  • Stand Alone network web cameras and camera servers such as the AXIS 2100 cameras with RJ45 interfaces
  • Video Game systems such as Xbox Live, PS2, GameCube, and even the old Sega Dreamcast can all now become wireless with this device.
